Happy 4th Birthday Savannah!

Savannah’s Top 10 (on her way to 4)

1. Decided to stop sucking her thumb (without any ‘special strategies’ on our part!)

2. Continued to expand her adventurous palate to include sauteed chard, asparagus, and kale soup (still not a fan of PB & J, though)

3. Rode her tricycle around the deck like a scooter shouting, “Stop, in the name of the law!”

4. Played ‘pet shop’ with her sister almost every day

5. Loved to jump in the pool and dunk underwater with her pink goggles on.

6. Enjoyed carrying on long conversations with her animals or singing songs when ‘nobody’ was listening.

7. Learned to say all three syllables of her name

8. Scared her brother and sister around the house with her mean monster noises

9. Was always the first one to share her treats or toys with her sister/brother.

10. Was never lacking in energy, smiles, or “I love you”s

We love you Savannah! You are 4 years old and we look forward to see what new adventures this next year will hold for you. You make me smile everytime I think of you. You are quick to laugh–and be silly–and forgive–and share–and say ‘I love you.’ Those are wonderful qualities to have. We are so thankful you’re in our lives! Your smile and hugs make my day.
